Do you upgrade every time a new PHP version is released?
I haven't been, but I wonder if I should?
I'm relaxed about that unless there is a security or performance fix.

That makes sense to me. I usually wait on upgrades of *anything* unless there is a security or performance fix, so why should php be different? :)

If it's addition of good features or a security fix, I upgrade. If it's just some un-important fix, I don't.

I usually only update if it is a real important security or feature update since I really don't bother if they are only changing very minor things that don't really matter.

No i am not every time whwnever there is some new version and i am pretty comfortable with 4.3 .
It is working fine and hope it will be !:)
Personally, I like being on the bleeding edge. The good news is, I'm running Slackware, so upgrading to the newest version of PHP is as simple as waiting for the newest package to show up on Linuxpackages. As a coder at heart, I'm a big fan of new features.
