PHP Newbie

I have been making websites for a year now. I only use HTML. Sometimes I use CMS but I use templates. I want to learn PHP so I started reading a book about PHP and MYSQL. Is it too late to learn PHP?

What do you mean by too late? It is NEVER too late to learn anything! :D
